ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

1).     How can we know God?

We did a study on "Knowing God's will" earlier. I truly believe that we must be born again to know God then receive the Holy Spirit to know God Himself, and after that we must read His Word to know Him more. You can't get to know one another unless you communicate with one another. There a scripture that says, "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" (Amos 3:3); we must walk with God to get to know Him. AMEN.

2).     How can we understand God's character?

As said earlier, getting to know Him, reading His Word, and listen to the Holy Spirit; God's character is in the Word. We must read His love letter to us, which is the Bible.

3).     What was Moses' prayer for himself?

"Shew me now thy way, that I may know thee" (Exodus 33:13).

4).     What do Jeremiah 9:23-24 says?

Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

5).     What is the revelation of knowing God's character?

The revelation is that God is love, full of compassion, and He judges righteously. His character is love (John 3:16)This mean that you know that God is love!

6).     How does God's lovingkindness show?

He often withholds the judgment we deserve, and gives us blessings we do not deserve. God loved us enough that when we were sinners—outcasts in His sight—He sent His Son to rescue us from our hopeless state.

7).     What were Apostle Paul's prayer for the Ephesians?

The Apostle Paul's prayer for the Ephesians was that they "may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge" (Ephesians 3:18-19).

8).     If we don't know God, what should we do?

That is the Gospel message of today; receive Jesus as our Savior by believing that He is the Son of God, repent, turn from our sin, and love everyone as God do, then we shall know God in our hearts.

9).     What kind of anger do God have?

God's anger is a controlled and measured anger; it is a settled displeasure against sin; it is a verdict of "guilty" upon sinners and a just meting out of punishment upon them.

10).   On Judgment Day who will be judged?

The Bible warns us that Judgment Day is coming for all of us—whether we are saved or unsaved (2 Corinthians 5:10-11; Revelation 20:11-12)! God will judge whether the things we have done here on earth were right or wrong.

11).   How do we live righteous?

The power God gives believers is the same power that raised Christ from the grave. If God could give life to a dead man, how much more can He give us the power to live righteous lives!

12).   Name some ways David was a man after God's own heart.

One was that he was truly thankful, and he knew God enough in his heart to worship God and accept Who God was with a thankful heart. He knew the peace of God in his heart.
