BIBLE STUDY "SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN" WEEK #1 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS

1).        What did Jesus instruct the disciples?

Jesus instructed His disciples to believe that they receive when they ask God in faith, with no doubt; He instructed them to speak to the problem or situation.  He also instructed them to pray with a believing heart to God.

 

2).        What is a mountain in a believer's life?

The mountain in a believer's life can be a problem, situation, sickness, or anything that is a barrier to complete God's will in our lives, or slowing you down or impeding your progress in the Kingdom of God.

 

3).        How do you speak to the mountain?

You command it, you declare it, you rebuke it, you say to it, you give it directions, and cast it out from your body, your finances, your family, off your job, and out of your home.

 

4).        If you don't speak to your mountain, what will it do?

If you don't speak to your mountain, your mountain will SPEAK to you, amen.

 

5).        Who should speak to your mountain?

 

God will never do what He has commanded us to do, and it is the believers' responsibility to speak to the mountain in their life.

6).        What do prayer and fasting deals with?

Prayer and fasting are spiritual discipline, and it deals with the spiritual realm.

 

7).        What is natural unbelief?

Natural belief is in the natural realm where you see, hear, taste, smell, and touch. Believers that walk in the flesh only can see in the natural realm. What I see I believe.

 

8).        What does fasting from food do?

Fasting from food take you out of the natural realm and helps you to be sensitive to the spiritual realm of God. Also, fasting from food forces your flesh to submit to your spirit-man.

 

9).        Jesus didn't tell us to ______, _______, or ______the mountain or

Jesus didn't tell us to ignore or deny the mountain or the problem.

 

10).      Explain speaking to the mountain.

Speaking to the mountain, situation, or problem is when you command it to go away, tell it to move to some other dimension that we don't inhabit; we live in a natural world and we can command it to go back into the spiritual world.  Just as it obey Jesus, it will obey the believer too. This is mountain moving faith!
